Marge Organo

A multi-concept artist, Marge Organo went on to pursue studies in glass sculpture at the world-renowned The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York, USA. There, she immersed herself in the very labor-intensive coldworking and lamination of optical glass using the “Sandwich Technique” and color infusion in glass lamination under the tutelage of the Czech glass masters. In 2016, she applied and was granted a scholarship and learned new techniques. To date, she has participated in exhibits like the Alay Sining 7,8, and 9, at the Greenbelt 5 gallery in Makati City. She has also participated in group exhibitions, including the 11th and 12th Annual Sculpture Review at The SM Art Center in Megamall, and the 1st and 2nd Iskultor Sculpture Shows to name a few. At present, her works are displayed in residences and corporate offices of private collectors in the Philippines, Europe and various states in the USA.

She has been accepted at the The Glass Making School in Kamenicky Senov,Czech Republic, the oldest glass school in Europe and in the world. Organo is set to adapt new techniques in glassmaking in mid 2018.
