Father, Our Hero | An Art Tribute

“Father, Our Hero”, an Art Tribute of Galerie Raphael in time for Father’s Day, is a celebration of fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society. It is but apt to present artworks that address the interests and concerns of fathers.

We often forget the sacrifices and contributions that fathers and male guardians have made in our lives. For “Father, Our Hero”, the participating artists express their adoration and gratitude to these special people. The exhibit aims to show how imperative fathers are to a family, even becoming personal heroes.

Aside from fathers as the focus, the exhibit also explores themes and subjects that dads hold dear to their hearts, such as architecture and design-- as dads are inclined to facets of building a home and other concepts related to it such as construction and engineering; as well as business and board room themes involving strategy, tactics, and sports; and travel and mechanical discussions pertaining to machinery, cars, and road trips. The special pieces in this exhibit, encapsulate the inherent honesty and straightforward-ness of father-figures, and serve as a reminder to the art public how moving and meaningful being a father can be.
