Pursuit of Happiness

The group exhibition titled “Pursuit of Happiness” cultivates powerful emotions within its viewers, encouraging self-reflection and authenticity. The participating artists, as painters of life and of living, demonstrate the connectedness of the human experience and the happiness arising from that knowledge even in the darkest times. In a world that demands perfection, the works depict a carefree attitude that challenges society’s ideas of conformity. The artists use variety of elements in their art, as each adventurous, spontaneous spirit lends itself to experimenting with new media. Every work is created evocatively, with the hopes that the expression depicts the sort of humanness that connects us all.

The theme of the exhibit is Joy. Joy is the light radiates from the soul – vulnerable, authentic, and contagious. In healing, there is a joy that comes from brokenness. It is rejuvenation, finding the excitement in the unknown and the goodness in change. Joy is enthusiasm and wonder. It is a whole world of adventure waiting to be explored. The ongoing interest is in exploring life forces and a sense of universal connection through art.

“Pursuit of Happiness” will run starting April 19 to April 30, 2021 through Galerie Raphael Online Shop, and will also be displayed in our galleries starting April 21.
