With Hope Comes a New Day: The Exhibit at the Shang

Galerie Raphael, in cooperation with the Shangri-La Plaza Mall, brings together twenty-one (21) artists in “With Hope Comes a New Day: The Exhibit”, celebrating excellence in craftsmanship, as the works provide a gateway to the core and essence of each master’s ideas and emotions through art. The special exhibition explores themes of hope, energy, passion, and optimism amidst an ongoing pandemic.

A Modern Master is an artist who has and continues to redefine the language of art history. They stretch the creative and intellectual capabilities of humankind and produce artistic works that effortlessly withstand the test of time. The pieces exhibited examine the views and visions of each artist and the relationship between artistic creativity and their associated life and career vantage points and cycles.

“With Hope Comes a New Day: The Exhibit” is a testimony that demonstrates how art, from various perspectives, can inspire and enact change, creating unbridled energy and hope. The notable goal of this exhibit involves a recollection of the role of these artists allowing the audience to both discover and rediscover stimulating exchanges of ideas through art. It is hoped that this project becomes an activity which will inspire and create positive energies, empathy, and new understandings, hoping to connect and present a notion to the observer that can then be resolved with a hopeful message.

“With Hope Comes a New Day: The Exhibit”, is an art exhibition hosted by Galerie Joaquin in cooperation with Shangri-La Plaza Mall, presenting works by National Artists Federico Aguilar Alcuaz, Abdulmari Asia Imao, Arturo Luz, Presidential Medal of Merit Awardee Juvenal Sanso, Raul Lebajo, Eduardo Castrillo, Ramon Orlina, Angelito Antonio, Raul Isidro, Mario Parial, Norberto Carating, Norma Belleza, Edwin Wilwayco, Michael Cacnio, Dominic Rubio, Carlo Magno, Vic Bachoco, Toym Imao, Marge Organo, Nixxio Castrillo, Faico, Ombok Villamor, and Katrina Cuenca.
