Lunar Brilliance, a solo show by Nap Limaten featuring his signature glass sculptures highlights the star of the lunar year – the horse. Limaten’s works offer a quieter, more meditative counterpoint, combining the power of the equine form with the ethereal glow of crafted glass. Limaten pays homage to the horse by capturing its essence through the ethereal medium of crystalline glass. He reimagines the horse as a symbol of inner strength and clarity through his chosen medium. Also, he manages to capture strength and movement in stillness, exquisitely freezing it in time.
The refined stillness of Nap Limaten’s solo works mirror the dual nature of the season. The interplay of movement and light invites a reflection on personal journeys by honoring what has passed while welcoming what lies ahead with hopeful joy.
